Hi Kris

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

I checked postgresql release that it is running in my computer:

PostgreSQL 8.2.6 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC gcc (GCC) 4.1.2
20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21)

The message error I obtain when I try to install pljava is:

org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: could not load library
"/usr/local/pljava/libpljava.so": /usr/local/pljava/libpljava.so:
undefined symbol:SetUserId

Could the problem be library release libpljava.so? Where could I
downlaod another library release?

best regards
