Hi Joshua,

I'm glad to get your kindly e-mail.
I would like to appologize to not updating PGCluster site for a year.
I upset my health caused by hard work after I moved to Japan from the Netherlands.

However, I have not give up PGCluster Project.

Currentry, I'm planing to develop the three type of new version.
(1) Current version with install support / Administration tool.
(2) DB Cluster with data shared model
(3) DB Grid on individual memory model

I'd like to release the (1) version as soon as possible.
Then I'm stucking in the (2).
2 years ago, I made full shared distributed memory, semaphore and storage system.
However, performance point of view, it was not do any good.

Still I'm seeking the best way in order to improve the performance.

A few month ago, I talked with professor at University about it.
He said a simply. "There is no answer."
I know about that, but I don't believe it.

I've begun to create new test environment for the partial shared data model from last week.
That is my latest hope.

The (3) is a just idea.
I've continued trial and error test of (2).
In the bathroom, I got an inspiration after a terrible failures.

I'd like to implement this idea.

Anyway, I'll release the latest one in the near future.

Regards,

At.Mitani
