[Pgcluster-general] how pgreplicate to work

Hi,list!
I have two questions:
 1:   does the pgreplicate store sqls or record transaction ID ?
 2:  if I have update the master node  during I dump or rsync data
from master node to other node  ,what will happen ?     I have two
clusters and two replicate nodes.
