On Windows you'll have to edit the config header yourself.  Unless 
you've got MSYS and can run the configure script.

I'd love to have the configuration process work as smoothly on Windows 
as it does for other platforms, so if you happen to be sitting on a 
better solution for this, feel free to share.  :-)
